Atal Tinkering Lab

The ATAL lab was established with the financial support of the central government’s “Niti Aayog” functions effectively to create a scientific temperament among students by initiating the young innovators. The school has the honour of ranking one among the top thirty ATAL established schools selected nationwide in the Tinkering Marathon competition and the competitors had a memorable opportunity to interact with our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi through video conference.

Sports

Proficient PETs of the school and the competent coaches from the outside train the students, to excel in the District, State and National Level competitions. The exemplary ambience with specific playfields, the athletic ground with a 6 lane track, indoor games area, gym, changing room, flood-lit basketball court and spectators’ gallery provide a good base and space for the sports persons to pursue and procure their aspirations.

Music

A classroom kitted out with classical and western musical instruments and perfectly furnished with other requisites for music practice is a unique facility in the school. Mass singing practice for devotional and patriotic songs is given every day in the morning assembly for all the students. Special training in vocal and instrumental singing is given to interested students and they fare well in many competitions.

Dance

The management has appointed two professionally qualified dance teachers to teach classical and non-classical dance. An excellent Nadana koodam adjacent to the auditorium provides the facility for dance enthusiasts.

Drawing

The drawing instructresses diligently trains divergent drawing techniques such as sketching, cloth painting, glass painting, oil pastel painting, eraser drawing, charcoal drawing, nail art, modern art etc., and train students to win many State level and National level prizes. Students also get training in vegetable carving, origami and creating art from waste.

Sewing

Sewing is taught to students from Std I to IX. The skills of cutting, stitching and embroidery are taught in a separate classroom furnished with 12 sewing machines.
