The morning assembly is conducted with all the activities specified in the GO No.335., where students learn the value of collective prayer and are exposed to the need to inculcate moral and ethical values. Besides, practice for singing national and devotional songs is also given and all national and religious days are also celebrated.
Extracurricular activities help the children to build their skills outside the classroom. In addition to, these activities help children to develop general academic and soft skills. They also help to open the children’s mind to new interests and views. The extracurricular classes are conducted in the evenings from 4.15 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. by the teachers-in-charge. The following are the activities: Drawing, Sewing, Dance, Band and Hindi.
The Co-curricular activities give the students an opportunity to develop skills and exhibit their non – academic abilities. They also help to build their overall personality. Besides, they complement the curricular activities and groom the students in the art of living and working together.
